TELLING TECH STORIES

Telling Tech Stories turns complex ideas into compelling human narratives: films and series that

make innovation clear and memorable

Technology can change how we live, work and feel. But when its value is hidden inside an algorithm, a material innovation or a design philosophy, audiences can struggle to understand why it matters.

Our approach combines rigorous research, documentary storytelling and cinematic craft. We find the human truth inside the technology, identify the tension that will hold attention, and translate technical detail into a story audiences can experience. The result is a powerful creative platform that transcends explanation. Our approach builds understanding while shaping brand perception, inspiring action and supporting commercial growth.

Make complex innovation clear and memorable

Crucially, the format is flexible enough to serve a launch, deepen a brand platform or sustain a conversation across multiple channels, audiences and campaign phases effectively.

For architectural lighting designers PHOS, the challenge was to communicate the ‘Power of Light’ - the idea that light is not simply functional but can profoundly affect our psychology, wellbeing and experience of space. Over six months, we met artists, designers and craftspeople redefining how light is experienced, from the designer behind The Chemical Brothers’ live shows to an artist who installed 60,000 solar-powered LEDs in a South African canyon.

We distilled that global research into 90 seconds of emotive narration and kaleidoscopic imagery. Premiered as the opening film for London Design Week, The Power of Light introduced thousands of people to the PHOS philosophy and helped foster a new community around light’s significance. Its sequel, Genesis, expanded the format into an immersive history of humanity’s relationship with light - from the Big Bang to modern megastructures - while challenging the industry to bring lighting design back into balance with nature. Together, the films transformed an abstract design ethos into an accessible cultural conversation.

Transcend explanation

For IRIS, the technology was equally powerful and difficult to visualise: an audio algorithm designed to improve clarity, focus and engagement. Our IRIS x Red Bull Racing campaign made its value immediate by placing it in Formula One, where communication must cut through extreme noise and fractions of a second matter.

We built a suite of films around the contrast between cerebral engineering and visceral racetrack intensity. Expert testimony explained how the technology worked; sports documentary storytelling showed why it mattered. Audiences first gained the knowledge to understand IRIS, then experienced its benefits from inside the race environment. The films became essential consumer touchpoints and, alongside the wider campaign, contributed to IRIS exceeding its funding target by 679%.

Turn audience understanding into customer loyalty

We then brought the same technology from the racetrack into everyday life for the launch of IRIS Flow Headphones. A dramatic before-and-after structure showed how one click could transform distraction into calm focus, while an intricate CGI exploded view made the product’s engineering feel tangible and desirable. This gave consumers both an emotional promise and a clear understanding of the product.

Build a distinctive brand story that can scale

With Polestar, we applied the format at series scale. Months of collaboration uncovered the stories behind the brand’s pursuit of sustainable luxury, creating a five-part long-form series across carbon neutrality, material circularity, design and performance. Rather than reducing sustainability to a claim, the series revealed the people, decisions and innovations moving the company forward.

Exceed your funding targets

That is the value of Telling Tech Stories: it bridges the gap between invention and understanding. Whether the output is a 90-second launch film, a product campaign or a long-form documentary series, we make complex technology feel relevant without flattening its intelligence.

Clients gain distinctive, versatile content. Audiences gain clarity and connection. and innovation becomes a story people can remember, share and act on.
